We had Sterling Building Ltd on site for most of the summer 2008 to build our side extension. They came highly recommended, offered a competitive quote, a start date to suit and a sensible time-frame for completion. We were in no doubt which builder to opt for and are 100% satisfied that we did. They delivered on everything agreed.

With some fairly complex work required that went beyond the scope of the original drawings there was no fuss, just solutions, and our home now looks even better than we imagined. The job included everything from digging the footings through to fitting the bathroom and kitchen and all the final decorative touches. We could not honestly complain about the quality of the workmanship in any way.

They were good fun to have around the house (despite drinking us out of a coffee on a couple of occasions) and we would certainly ask them back to carry out any future building work we do.

SBL built us a kitchen extension and installed the kitchen itself. It was a relatively large job, taking several months. We cannot rate them highly enough. Not only were they very competitive but had the most brilliant 'can do' attitude - nothing was too much trouble for them. The quality of the work was first class and it was a pleasure to have them working in our home for several months.

We needed our roof repaired and as usual it was the worst weather imaginable to discover this.
My wife and I thought there would be no way we could get this done in those conditions without it costing a fortune.

But after a recommendation from a friend we got Sterling Building to take a look. They gave us a really good price, were really helpful and got the job done to a standard that I thought would cost us a lot more.

I can't recommend them highly enough. The roof was re-tiled quickly, the disruption was minimal and the guys who worked on the roof were friendly and helpful at all times.
